Seminar: Homer's Odyssey (Selections)

Originally composed in the oral poetic traditions in Ionia, the westernmost part of what is now Turkey, on the eastern coast of the Agean Sea. It follows the adventures and misadventures of Odysseus (also known as Ulysses in Latin). Seminars at Philosophy Farm will be a standard part of weekend and weeklong work-learn events, combining physical work in the mornings with readings and discussions in the afternoons. Preparing and sharing farm food in the style of our Eat Like Ben posts will also be a standard part of Philosophy Farm events.
